What is to be done.

The thing to do now is overthrow the so-called neo-, the post-avant. Because ever since Marinetti's 1905 referendum on free verse (published in 1909 as the Enquête internationale sur le vers libre et manifeste du Futurisme), we've been stuck in the kind of post-Symbolist techniques and rationalizations of not just of Modernism (enough, already, blaming of Modernism!) but all that has followed it.

All we have at present are more- and less-structured texts.

This is insufficient, and it is not new.
