Another installment of... Of Being Quiet: Stan Brakhage

Aggravated yet again about "Quietude?" Here's some silent poetry film for you from the astounding Stan Brakhage, who came to mind as I was reading Daniel Kane's new book, We Saw the Light: Conversations between the New American Cinema and Poetry.

Thanks for putting these up! I remember a Susan Howe syllabus that included some of Brackage's works. Howe says "These films should be considered poems."

As great as it is to have them on youtube and dvd, it's a shame it's mostly impossible to see them in a theater. On the big screen they are beautiful beyond belief.
