Allen Ginsberg on the need to condense (and other advice)


The above was written to me by Allen Ginsberg, on a draft of a poem I'd sent him as a kid.  No master of concision himself, oddly, he gave me this and other excellent advice & encouragement.  Always kind to younger writers, this is one of countless notes he sent over the years.
